CV – Professional Dance Career

Studied at the Royal Ballet School, London. After graduation, accepted into the Royal Ballet Company, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Remained four years in the company, working with many leading personalities of the period, including Sir Frederick Ashton, Sir Kenneth MacMillan, George Balanchine, Margot Fonteyn, Rudolf Nureyev. Danced also demi-solo and solo roles in ballets by Ashton and MacMillan.

Selected by John Cranko for his Stuttgart Company, promoted shortly afterwards to Soloist and a year later to Principal.





Danced the leading roles in John Cranko’s important full-length ballets:
Tatyana in Eugene Onegin
Katharina and Bianca in Taming of the Shrew
Julia in Romeo and Julia

Also:
Giselle in Giselle (Peter Wright)
Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty (Frankfurt Ballet)

Danced many leading roles in one-act ballets by John Cranko, Frederick Ashton, Kenneth MacMillan, George Balanchine, Peter Wright, Glenn Tetley etc.
Guest appearances with the Royal Ballet Company and the Stuttgart Ballet in all major opera houses of the world.
